Overview

Richard R. Cruse is a retired shareholder in the law firm of Chamberlain Hrdlicka.

While practicing law he was certified in both Estate Planning and Probate Law and Tax Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He was a fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel and was listed in the Best Lawyers in America and Texas Monthly Super Lawyers. He served as Chairman of the Houston Bar Association’s Probate, Trust, and Estate Section and as a Trustee of the Houston Bar Foundation.

Mr. Cruse earned his Bachelor’s degree from Washington and Lee University, his Bachelor of Laws from the University of Texas at Austin, and his Master of Laws in Taxation from New York University.

Since his retirement from his law practice, he has been actively involved in the Christian Community Service Center. He is a veteran of the Vietnam War having served as a combat infantryman in the 82nd Airborne Division.
